Flughafen Restaurant in Norderney

Even at Crona times, the food was good, the service was good, clean and the staff were very friendly.

No matter whether warm dishes or just the cake with coffee. Everything prepared very nicely. Friendly service. Even the boss and his wife always have an open ear for the customers and like to stay for a short chat.

Unfunded and uncomfortable! We wanted to sit by the window with a view of the airfield and the sea. When we came in, however, we were denied a window seat, with reference to the Corona regulations and distance rules. One can understand, although in this case the distance could have been kept. Here the sound was unnecessarily annoyed and unfriendly. So we were seated in the back, where it was quite dark, with zero view and ambience. However, a short time later a group of 8 people was placed right next to us and the tables were pushed together. When asked whether we might be able to switch to the window (all the tables at the window had meanwhile become free), especially since the distance was clearly no longer being maintained, we were told in a completely dismissive manner that it was "okay" and we were would also "not miss anything". Do not miss anything? If so, the view here could have saved something. We were stunned by the lack of customer focus. On leaving the waiter said goodbye in a friendly manner, the proprietors couldn't even bring themselves to say goodbye. The access to the toilets was blocked by a chair, so you should use the one from the airport. So much for service!

The food was delicious, the terrace is great, there was always something for the kids to see.

Nice staff, a nice view of the flight operations and good, fresh food that will fill you up (in my case, herring tip with fried potatoes). Overall, everything is great!

We had the sweet breakfast from the island ticket there. Very nice viewpoint. So the day can begin.

Where pilots land, the food is usually good - this motto also applies here: great regional cuisine at reasonable prices, friendly, attentive and cheerful service. Gladly again!

Overpriced food and drinks. Staff is not friendly.

A bottomless cheek !!!!!!! Totally derogatory towards children. Cheeky and rude as well as arrogant. We weren't allowed to sit at the window with our 1.5 year old son, on the grounds that he would dirty the panes (with his hands) and then the waiter would have to clean them. After our offer to clean the window ourselves after the stay, we were warned by a second waiter to take action. Other guests also noticed this incident and reacted by shaking their heads. It's just a shame for our little sparrow who was so happy about the planes. We then left the restaurant. Shame on you!!!! (one star is still too many)

Extensive menu, the food is always delicious. Friendly staff, family atmosphere, always a lot of variety due to the arriving and departing planes. You can also arrange sightseeing flights with very good and experienced pilots, which will show you the true beauty of Norderney from above. Highly recommended and always an experience.

Interesting to look at, cheap prices, nice service and good food.

Nice to see the planes take off and land. You don't have to go here to eat! The pollock is a big fish stick and you don't have to pay € 16 for it. Potato salad doesn't seem freshly made either, but from the package. The service was very friendly.

We are always very happy to be with Kordula and Peter. On the one hand it is the friendliness of the entire team, on the other hand it is the delicious food and the great location. There is always a lot to see and experience right at the airfield on Norderney. In addition, the airport restaurant is the perfect stop for a trip to the dunes or to the end of the island. Great ambience .. great restaurant .. delicious food

A nice cafe / restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the value for money is completely ok. A beautiful terrace overlooking the airfield and the Wadden Sea. Be sure to stop by. And another tip: not everyone rated objectively and objectively. So even if something does not always have 5 stars, try it anyway.
